Are these official AIA documents?
No. PayAppFlow generates AIA-style formatted documents that mirror the G702/G703 layout field-for-field. Most GCs and owners accept AIA-style formats. If your contract explicitly requires official AIA Contract Documents, purchase them from AIA — you can still use PayAppFlow to compute every value and transfer them.
How does the carry-forward work?
Each application stores what you billed that period. When you create the next application, Column D ("work completed from previous application") is computed as the sum of all prior periods for each line — the exact continuity GCs check first when reviewing your pay app.
Can I handle variable retainage?
Yes — completed work and stored materials each have their own retainage percentage, and you can change them per project. Retainage recalculates across all periods automatically.
